(October 18, 2019) Alberta Soccer is excited to welcome Canada Soccer staff, Rhian Wilkinson and Joey Lomardi, to the CSA Integration Camp being held in Calgary this weekend. The event, which is the first of its kind being held in the province, features player training & evaluation, and educational sessions for coaches and technical directors from Alberta Soccer clubs and districts.
All coaches and technical directors are invited to attend the coaching seminars, which will offer insight into what’s going on at the national level, how local coaches can better prepare Alberta players for advancing on the player pathway, as well as on-field teachings from the men’s and women’s National programs.
“An event like this has never been held in Alberta before and it promises to be a tremendous weekend for each of the players and technical staff who are involved,” explains Jordan Stewart, Alberta Soccer Provincial Coach South. “We look forward to seeing coaches and technical staff in attendance and taking advantage of this fantastic opportunity.”
Player Evaluations
In addition to the learning opportunities for technical staff, the Integration Camp will see top 2004-05 male and 2003-06 female players being evaluated by the Canada Soccer staff.
