(August 1, 2019) Canada Soccer is now accepting letters of intent from clubs that are interested in attaining a National Youth Club Licence.

In 2017, Canada Soccer launched the Club Licensing Program with the Canada Soccer Professional Club Licence. This program was expanded in 2018 to include youth soccer organizations with a targeted initial implementation of the National Youth Club Licence. The National Youth Club Licence is the highest category of recognition for youth soccer organizations within the Club Licensing Program. Organizations achieving this licence display characteristics and demonstrate behaviours aligned with the highest expectations of governance, administration, infrastructure, and technical, support their Member Association and Canada Soccer Pathways and participate in the highest level of competition in Canada; the Canada Soccer Player Development Program.
